Stress - strain analysis of save first molar tooth
Valášek, Jiří ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis specialises in stress – strain analysis of the save tooth. Concretely this thesis works with the save tooth with cavity of the I. and II. class. At the beginning of this work you can find description of basic filling materials, different ways of cavity´s preparation and subclassification of cavity. This work describes production of geometric model of health and save tooth with cavity of the I. and II. class. Model geometer of the save tooth was im-plemented in several ways, each one concerning different form of cavity, size of cavity and different filling materials. Final element net was created on the base of these geometric mo-dels. Computational model was created with the help of the programme ANSYS 11.0 in gra-phic environment Workbench and with the help of the final elements method. The results of the analysis are following: Continuity of the save tooth happens to break thereby the whole stiffness decreases in comparison with the save tooth. Two filling materials were used for sanitation of the tooth: amalgam and composite resin. As a result of the analysis I consider amalgam to be more suitable for sanitation of teeth in moral section.
3D print of gearbox housing model
Kopecký, Marek ; Rebenda, David (referee) ; Dočkal, Kryštof (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of two stage spur gearbox housing for food processor. Strength calculation was conducted using FEM analysis. State of the art from the field of transmission casing, CAD model and prototype created by 3D print are parts of the thesis. 3D printed model is meant for demonstration of bearing seats and use of normalized mechanical elements. The thesis should provide fundamentals of gearbox housing and show a solution of one case.
Sandwich panels analysis under compressive load using finite elements methods
Seman, Matúš ; Löffelmann, František (referee) ; Mališ, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of numerical modeling failure mechanism in sandwich panels using final element methods. The first part of the thesis presents theoretical introduction to requirements of sandwich structures and either mathematic formulation of constitutive relations. The purpose of the thesis was to set suitable approcahes of formulation instability problems with applying on laboratory samples. The analysis was done using nonlinear solvers in programes Patran/Nastran and the results have been properly evaluated with experimental work and analytical approach.
Computational modeling of the influence of geometry and material model on vibration of human vocal folds
Michálek, Mojmír Cyril ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Švancara, Pavel (advisor)
This theses focuses on a research of existing material and geometry models. Its effort is to gather and organize gathered information thus so that overview of geometries and material models was created. Furthermore an influence of Young’s modulus in tension of particular vocal fold layers was investigated using modal analysis. This was made for one three-dimensional (3D) and two two-dimensional (2D) geometry models.
Static and modal analysis of bridge structure
Turková, Martina ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is based on structural analysis calculated by Dopravoprojekt Ostrava company that was used for dimensioning of the oblique bridge structure No. 433 27-3, in Popůvky, Přerov district. The beam model which is part of static calculation and is designed by Nexis 32 software, served as ground. The aim of the thesis was to construct an identical beam model, specifying boardwall model and perform static and modal analysis. All calculation were done in Dlubal RFEM 5.01 software.
Retaining Walls
Michalčák, Jan ; Fiala, Radek (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with retaining walls, methods of the design and defects. The thesis then focuses on gebion retaning walls and their defects. The adopted design of the model of gabion for the calculation through final element method (FEM) is here processed and verified. In the practical part findings are applied to a real situation along a cycle path near the village called Tatranská Polianka. The designed retaining wall from gabion baskets is calculated analytically, using the programme GEO5 and PLAXIS 2D. In conclusion, results are evaluated and compared.
Stress-strain Analysis of Diesel Particulate Filter Support on Tractor
Ježek, Přemysl ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to carry out stress-strain analysis of diesel particulate filter support on tractor. So it describes sequence of steps for the analysis model, such as geometry description, mesh generation, applied forces definition and others. Result of the analysis is assessed in terms of strength and improvement was proposed.
Stress-strain Analysis of Dental Veneers
Valenta, Jiří ; Valášek, Jiří (referee) ; Marcián, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on stress-strain analysis of the upper central incisor with applied veneer and its variations with proximal fillings and endodontic treatment. The basic materials and veneer types are introduced at the beginning. Next chapter describes the creation of geometric models of a healthy tooth, veneers and fillings. The veneer geometry model has been done in several variants, taking different thickness values, veneer ranges and used materials into account. A finite element mesh was applied to the models. The computation model was solved using the finite element method using the ANSYS 14.0 software in the Workbench graphics environment. The results of the analysis show that the composite material is more suitable for veneers placed partially in the dentin - either with proximal fillings or without them. The ceramic material is a better option for endodontic treatment. Veneers located in the enamel are not significantly affected by the choice of material and the ceramic material is more appropriate only when proximal fillings are applied.
